ProductShare was created with the intention to decentralize its ownership and governance by placing it in the hands of the community it serves. This is made possible using blockchain technology in the form of a cryptographic governance token called StakeShare that enables community members to assume ownership of the ProductShare Ecosystem and to participate in marketplace governance functions such as product curation while automatically receiving a share of profits proportional to their ownership stake. StakeShare has a fixed constant supply will be distributed evenly among 3 core stakeholder groups that make up the overall ProductShare community:
